On Thursday, September 28, 2023, the CAC Contemporary Art Center was illuminated with the magic of letters and literary creativity during the exciting launch of the Anthology "El chest before the bullet". This literary project is the legacy of an exceptional group: "Los Incorrigibles", which was founded by the talented Ecuadorian writer Allan Coronel Salazar.
This literary project began to take shape in 2022, under the direction of Allan Coronel Salazar. Unfortunately, in April of this year, Allan left us, leaving his work unfinished. However, his literary spirit was not extinguished, thanks to the tireless efforts of his family and the invaluable support of the "Edgar Palacios Cultural Foundation" Publishing Label. Together, they managed to complete this important project for the literary community.
The launch evening was a moving tribute to Allan's vision and commitment to literature. Live music, with outstanding artists led by Maestro Edgar Palacios, added a special touch to the night, creating a magical atmosphere at the CAC. In addition, the 18 talented artists participating in the anthology shared readings of their works, taking those present on a journey through the pages of "The Chest Before the Bullet.".
