Special Musicians Orchestra of Ecuador.

In 1992, the Palacios Mendieta family decided to turn a challenge into an opportunity. Moved by their love for a girl suffering from meningitis, they discovered in music a gateway to learning, excitement, and happiness. Maestro Edgar Palacios , seeing their enthusiasm at the piano, understood that art could speak where words cannot.

Thus was born the Edgar Palacios Cultural Foundation , with the goal of promoting artistic and educational development in Ecuador. A year later, in 1993, that dream took shape in the National System of Music for Special Needs Children (SINAMUNE ), a space where music becomes therapy, language, and hope.

Since then, Sinamune has transformed lives through art, proving that every person has a talent that can shine. Here, every note tells a story, every melody opens a path... and every day proves that art has no limits, only hearts willing to feel.

A space to learn and be happy...

Transforming lives and making their dreams possible.
